Flower bouquets are great gifts that will be truly appreciated by the recipient. One cannot help but feel proud and happy while holding a beautiful bouquet in one’s hands. They come in different sizes, colors, and designs that are perfect for special occasions such as debuts, birthdays, or weddings. They are always readily available in flower shops, and you can even order them online and have them delivered anywhere in the world. Such a gift is a universal symbol of affection for your loved one.

The impact of bouquets may not have changed over the years, but the bouquets themselves certainly have. There are now bouquet suppliers whose wares are made of candy. Called candy bouquets, these festive creations are full of sweetness because they’re made up of yummy candies and chocolates! Here are the simple steps to making candy bouquets that are sweet to eat, and made all the sweeter to the receiver because of your time and effort.

First, you will need foil-wrapped candies of various sizes. Small, hard candies in foil wrappings work wonderfully, as well as candy bars or chocolate bars wrapped in jeweled-toned foil. Next, choose a container or a wide-mouthed vase to hold the bouquet. You can further decorate the vase by painting it with colors that complement or blend well with the color of the foil wrappers.

Place a flat Styrofoam brick in the container to serve as the base then insert a foam ball on a dowel. The size of the Styrofoam ball should be in proportion with the size of the vase and the size of the bouquet you want. A too small ball may not hold all the candies, while a big one might topple off the base because it’s unbalanced. Cover the ball with moss or any colored filler. Next, stick the foil-wrapped candies into the foam ball using floral pins at each end of the wrapper. If you’re using chocolate bars, hot glue the bars to sucker sticks or Popsicle sticks and insert.

For unique weddings, you can have candy bouquets for your flower girl and you can also give candy wedding favors to complete the sweetness of the event. You can make ordinary candies into lovely works of art that can be appreciated any time of the year.
